Check the IST: Central Computing Services System Status website (http://systemstatus.berkeley.edu/) to find the most current and up-to-date information regarding the availability of centrally-supported systems.
The system status website has replaced the Central Systems Machine Status Recording (642-4774).
Over time, this site will expand to include network availability, scheduled system outages, and non-IST system information. The system status site will eventually provide the campus with "one stop shopping" for information on system and network availability.
