High Performance Computing workshop for researchers and scientists

IST and Dell Computers invite researchers and scientists to the High Performance Computing workshop, Wednesday, April 25, from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm, in 60 Barrows Hall, to explore the benefits of cluster computing hardware and software solutions for demanding computational requirements.

Participants are welcome to attend all or part of the workshop in which they will learn about:

The latest hardware technology being used in high-performance computing clusters (HPCC).
The latest processor technology from AMD and Intel.
The latest on high-speed interconnects.
Compilers and development software including tips on how to program in a parallel environment.
