Grant funding available for Internet educational projects in collaboration with Oakland and SF schools

David A. Greenbaum

The Interactive University (IU) project invites UC Berkeley campus departments and units to submit proposals for grant funding of up to $35,000 a year for a maximum of three years for Internet Learning Community projects in partnership with the Oakland and San Francisco Unified School Districts. Please see the invitation letter from IU project leaders Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Carol T. Christ (UC Berkeley), Assistant Superintendent Yolanda Peeks (Oakland Unified School District), and Associate Superintendent Maria Santos (San Francisco Unified School District). We expect to fund approximately eight projects.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) can be found at the Interactive University website. If you have questions about the RFP, please contact David Greenbaum or other IU staff by email at iup@uclink4.berkeley.edu or by calling (510) 642-5801. Please share this information with others on campus you think may be interested.
