The Student Computer Consulting Service (SCCS), formerly located in the atrium of the Cesar Chavez Student Center, has officially moved to the first floor of Moffitt Library, along with the new expansion of the Moffitt Microcomputer Facility. The SCCS provides connectivity support for all registered students on a walk-in basis only. These services include Connecting@Berkeley (C@B) configuration, troubleshooting, and sales; modem support; Laptop IP Service (LIPS) consulting and registration assistance; and UCLink and Home IP account setup. The SCCS also provides support via phone (643-7536) and email (sccs@cafe.berkeley.edu) for Subscription Home IP Service (SHIPS) users only.
The SCCS is open Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Student consultants are available at the service counter area during these times; service is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, please see the SCCS website (http://wss.berkeley.edu/facility/facilities/sccs.html).
