Stretch Break software now downloadable from campus Blu portal

Barbara Pottgen, University Health Services — Ergonomics@Work

Stretch Break software is now downloadable for campus faculty and staff who use Windows and is coming soon for Mac users. This innovative software program reminds you to take short stretch breaks while working at your computer — and then shows you how, using lifelike animated pictures! Studies have shown that taking frequent, short rest breaks throughout the day can help combat fatigue and discomfort and have a positive effect on productivity.

To download Stretch Break onto your computer, log on to the Blu portal using your CalNet ID, click on the People tab, and look for Stretch Break under Job Tools. Take a break and enjoy the stretch!
