Three UC Berkeley IT projects, e-Berkeley Initiative (http://eberkeley.berkeley.edu/), e-Grades, and Webcast, have been nominated for the 2002 Larry L. Sautter Award for Innovation in Information Technology.
The award honors employees at any of the ten UC campuses, the Office of the President (UCOP), and the three UC-managed national laboratories for "Best IT Practices in Business Processes and Services" or "Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Information Technology". Up to two awards and two honorable mentions are presented each year. For eligibility criteria and purpose of the award, see the Larry L. Sautter Award for Innovation in Information Technology PDF file (http://www.ucop.edu/irc/jog/sautter/progann02.pdf).
Winners will be announced at the University of California Computing Services Conference (UCCSC, http://uccsc.berkeley.edu/) in July.
